Replacing A Wall Water Fountain Pump

In this article we are going to teach you how to remove your water pump and install a new one. The first thing that you are going to want to do is unplug the pump from the light bar and bring the cord down the right side of the wall fountain. Then you want to proceed to the bottom of the water feature and remove the pebbles from the tray, remove the pebble beach shelf and gently lift up the tray them and remove it from the wall.

Once we have gotten to this point you will want to snip off the existing zip tie on the pump tubing and remove the hose from the pump. Now to install the new pump. The first thing you are going to want to do, once you get the pump out of the box, is to place the pump pad on the under the side of the pump. Once you have done this you will want to take the pump and attach it to the hose. Generally it's good to keep the filter pointing back towards the back wall as you do this.

Once you have put the pump on you will want to secure the hose to the pump with a new zip tie and trim the excess. Now we will replace the tray. Once we replace the tray we will insert the pebble beach shelf and place the pebbles back onto the shelf. The last thing that you are going to want to do is run the cord up the right side of stone and plug it in the light bar.
