Cottonwood Falls is our most popular double panel wall fountain. This beautiful waterfall measures just under six feet in height and five feet wide. Each panel acts as an independent waterfall within the fountain as a whole with it's own cascading water flow. Choose from a myriad of frame design choices including the ultra modern black onyx and stainless steel, or our classic solid rustic copper. The fountain panels come in several colors of slate, mirrors and marble. Each waterfall is available with either halogen or colored LED lighting. Shipping is complimentary on all our wall waterfalls so there is no need to worry about shipping cost or delivery destination within the mainland US. When considering a water fountain style choosing a color is of critical importance. Chromotherapy has used color to influence us in beneficial ways. The moods generated by colors effect how we treat and respond to other people and how happy we will be in our daily lives. Most fountain styles are available in a myriad of different color choices in order to make them appealing to the widest population possible. We should also choose fountains that complement our home decor and match well with already existing colors in the area. Every person will respond differently to color depending upon their temperament, past experiences with the color and the associations they see in the color. However, there are commonalities within cultures that make some broad generalizations possible when it comes to selecting color for a water fountain. Reds tend to be stimulating and invigorating and attract attention. If we look at the terra red featherstone fountain we can see how it is much more visually exciting then a black slate wall fountain would be. Green colors suggest plant life and bring to mind a forest and lush garden vegetation. The green rainforest marble wall fountain is a good example of greens being used in a water feature together with the browns of natural petrified tree roots. Outdoor fountains have finishes available that can mimic the effect of naturally growing moss and blend in well with the greenery found in most gardens. Browns and blacks suggest the stability and nurturing qualities of earth. This stability and heaviness tends to support a feeling of calm relaxation. Fountains with earth toned colors are now being made with slate known as Rajah Multicolor which is made up mostly of browns, rusts and tan colors. Rajah slate wall fountains are our most popular slate color choice. In large part this may be due to the slate matching so well with the natural copper frame material. New fountain frame color choices like blackened copper reflect this trend and go so well with our new black spider rainforest marble and black slate stones. Blues and aqua based colors tend to be very soothing. Some new mirrored fountains are being introduced with the option of using blue mirrors for the fountain surface. In addition to considering color in the core materials of your fountain you may also wish to consider lighting. Many indoor fountains have become available with LED light options that enable us to change the light on our fountain simply and easily using a remote control which can influence our health and mood. The outdoor garden fountains also have an add-on LED light kit that comes complete with colored lenses that will shine through the water at night producing a wonderful light and water display. |
