The Harmony River is one of the newest models in our collection. A featherstone slate or silver mirror face panel is framed in your choice of five frame designs for a simple yet customized look. The panel on this waterfall is mounted towards the rear of the lower reservoir making it perfect for placing against your wall.

    A primary reason why free-standing water fountains are all the rage is that they are so unproblematic to set up. They only need to be unpacked, assembled, filled with water and connected to an electrical outlet. Floor standing water fountains can also be moved as required and conditions demand. Many people take pleasure in using waterfalls in different locations at different times.

    When using floor water features then it is best to use the rear mounted central panel variety if the waterfall is to be located straight up against a wall, and center mounted panel styles if you want to stand the feature in the center of a room or away from a wall or other opaque solid surface. The rationale for this is that with rear mounted panels made of transparent materials it can be hard to observe the water flow if there is a solid surface too close behind it. This has to do with there not being adequate light to reflect the water between the glass and wall. This is why floor water features with main panels mounted on the rear lip of the reservoir are mostly made of solid materials like mirrors or stone, while center panel types are made of more clear materials like clear or textured glass which give more room on either side for reflected light.
