The panel on this waterfall is mounted towards the rear of the lower reservoir making it perfect for placing against your wall.
A primary reason why free standing water fountains are admired is that they are so easy to install. They only require to be unpacked, assembled, filled with water and connected to an electrical outlet. Floor standing water fountains can also be moved as desired and conditions necessitate. Many people enjoy using water features in numerous locations at different times.
When using floor water features then it is best to use the rear mounted central panel type if the waterfall is to be to be found straight up against a wall, and central mounted panel styles if you want to position the feature in the middle of a room or away from a wall or other opaque solid surface. The reason for this is that with rear mounted panels made of see-through materials it can be hard to make out the water flow if there is a solid surface too close up behind it. This has to do with there not being an adequate amount of light to reflect the water between the glass and wall. This is why floor water features with main panels mounted on the rear frame of the reservoir are regularly prepared of opaque materials like mirrors or stone, while center panel types are made of more translucent materials like clear or textured glass which offer more room on either side for reflected light.
