The slate or marble on this beautiful piece is specially quarried and shipped in from India. The stones of India are renowned worldwide for their beauty and elegance. Every stone is hand cut and its edges chisled to perfection making each fountain a one of a kind masterpeice. Each waterfall is an original with its own distinctive shading, coloring and texture which may vary from the example photo. Among the slates the black stone and green stone have some variation of shade; however, the most dramatic difference is seen in the remarkable rajah multicolor stone, which varies in its range of greens, reds, golds, and rusts. The most common frame materials for waterfall walls are copper and Copper. Copper is used for several reasons. Copper has a beautiful color, can be marbled with various designs by applying heat, and is very soft making it easily formed and molded into the desired shape. All copper components are fashioned in high grade copper from the mountains of Utah. The unique marblelike finish is burned onto the copper one piece at a time by skilled artesians. A clear coat finish is then applied to the metal to give it a high gloss finish as well as to protect the copper from naturally turning green over time. Water fountains can improve concentration and promote relaxation.
